Can anyone give any suggestions or tips for installing a new heater core in a 63 Dart without AC.I can tell that the heater box has clips around it that hold both sides together but is there somthing else holding it and does the glove box need to be removed?
I am looking for a factory shop manual but I need to get this core in soon as it is getting cold here. All help is appreciated very much.
Thanks

Pretty straightforward job. Pulling the heater box completely out of the car is the way to go, IMO, for which the glovebox should be removed. The tension clips and some strip-type mastic hold the box together.

Be very careful there is a small nut on a rod with a bend in the end of it that must come loose otherwise you will break the box when trying to remove it, it is a small (5/16) nut at the very bottom of the round part of the box. No the glove box does not have to be removed.
