Dude, I am not involved in this at all, but giving a buyer bad feedback out of spite seems like bad business. Additionally, the fact that your organization can't/doesn't track emails well (as you just pointed out yourself) does seem like you may have goofed up. You are saying that you can't effectively track order inquiry/fulfillment related emails, but you can track feedback. That seems a little backwards to me.
Ding, Ding, Ding!

man, I wouldn't want to do any business with you! You seem like those customers whom no matter what and how good you do, they'll never be satisfied.

That is not the case. This was the first time I had ever left anything other than a positive feedback when dealing with someone on ebay.

>>>*You have THREE feedback points.....THREE! I have a few thousand more than that, with a 100% rating. Try that dealing with engine parts sometime.
I happen to be ranked in the top 1% in all of eBay motors, a fact I am proud of. My company ranks #2 in volume in the automotive services catagory at Paypal, worldwide. Go check, there I am. And ALL of that is while I am retired and just messing around on eBay. I do not need to do this, well, I guess I do since I don't do easy chairs well.

You mention you work for a "multi-billion" dollar company. I am much smaller, I simply own a multi-million dollar corporation, so I am a bit busy, too.

I was the company President of EPN, now I am simply on the board of directors although I do still hold controlling interest. That company supplies rebuilders and warehouses mostly. The advantage here is I can and do have items made, to any spec I want, anything I want. You are correct, those valves are nice, and there is no equal available and this is a fact. Some folks consider access to items like this an asset.

You have 3 feedback points. You are the newbie here, not me. Nothing wrong with being new, mind you, but relax for God's sakes and take a breath!

99.99% of my customers are good, patient, and understanding. Read your own posts, you take each line, twist it to somehow prove your own point. Like the "It wasn't one day, it was two to ship."

Well, it WAS shipped the next business day according to the driver signed pickup reciept, you look at the billing information which is sent afterwards and think it's later.
I took the time this morning to go look it up. I didn't check to see if this was a change order address, since I don't care. *Well, that's a fib,...:)...I do too care.. I think I will go look that up, too.

You say you sent a seperate email with an updated address and a request for track code BEFORE the item could even be packaged and shipped? So it is sitting in a pile with 150 other parcels and I am supposed to go back and do that? It is a violation of the rules to even ship to an address other than listed on Paypal, but we apparently took the risk and did that for you.

Sure, I could just type in the email address etc into the UPS system, then deal with the typos and returned emails with invalid addresses. Then I get to try and figure out who didn't get what, on and on and on.

Great, now I go hire even more people, then you have $12 valves instead of $6 valves but maybe you would get your precious email response. I still answer the vast majority emails within minutes, most of my competitors will answer you in 2-3 days ..........if at all.

No... I won't go back and dig through 150-300 emails. (Well, actually I have had to do that if some kind of upset happens, but I try to avoid it, time consuming.)

If one gets missed, try again or use the telephone. My operations and communications are just fine, otherwise I would not maintain a nice 11000+ feedbacks and 100% ranking, now that IS a fact.

I say request the track code 5-6 days later, because perhaps something is wrong. Otherwise, go look outside the door, it has likely arrived.

Relax a little... Besides, I can type just as fast as you can....*LOL**...I made almost $9.00 on that set of valves you bought, I am going to take the wife out to breakfast this morning and spend it, thinking of you the whole time...:)....Thank you for the Bacon and Eggs today....*EB

Let's try to keep this thread focused on the topic...
Most seem to agree that Engine Builders has some nice quality valves that fit well in a SL6.

There seems to be some mixed feelings about their service but I have never had a problem with getting what I've ordered.

The account I used to bid was my wife's, I used it trying to boost her eBay rating. I have my own eBay account separate.

I do consider it an asset. But that does not give the seller the right to take his customers for granted. ( I am not saying you do, BTW)

I am cool, no problem.

I ready DID NOT select you personally to put on my ignore list.
I do not doubt this. If you reread my original post I stated that stuff happens. And that is why I left you a neutral feedback and not a negative feedback.

So if someone complains about service they are really the problem? At least I realize that I will mess up and my company will mess up. It is not an intentional thing, it happens and it is part of doing business. At least I am man enough to admit when the error is my fault instead of trying to blame everyone under the sun and not take responsibility. And how is pointing out a factually incorrect statement twisting words?

Well I was not aware it was a "violation" of rules. If you took a risk it is much appreciated.

Yep happens all the time

What does you competitors have to do with you? I do not let my competitors dictate what I do, I do what I think is right regardless of how anyone else does it.

I was really not all that upset until I saw you have left me a neutral feedback simply because I had left you one.

Well I request the tracking codes when I pay and most every time I get them.

What does typing as fast as me have anything to do with anything? I am so glad you were able to provide you breakfast, a capitalist system us truly great.

Well it seem the bottom line is this. I think you are wrong here, you think I am wrong here. We just need to agree to disagree and move on because it seems that neither one of us will convince the other who is wrong.... I did probably over reacted when I saw the neutral feedback and when I saw you post here I took the opportunity to post my feelings about it. I truly do think that they are high quality valves. If you only made $9.00 losing my business will not affect you in any way.
