What year engines would be a straight swap for my "1966 Dodge Polara 440" 225 slant six? Will a 1977 225 slant six bolt right in?
Thanks, Brian

The '77 engine will bolt in, but you'll probably want to use the '66 oil pan and pickup. This isn't likely to be as big an issue with your big car as it is with the A-body compacts. If your '66 has an automatic transmission, you will need to install a 1/8" annular ring between the '66 torque converter nose and the '77 crank counterbore. You can get this ring from Pat Blais, tflitepatty@verizon.net .
