I can't remember on this site who has a torque plate for a Slant 6. I would like to PM this person and rent it out. I will gladly pay for all the shipping exspenses and whatever refundable core charge is feasible and rental fee. Thanks in advance.

I have one I would rent at a reasonable cost.

Expect high shipping costs since this thing is heavy and having to pay the twice for both inbound and outbound.
One way to cut that cost in half is to arrange and schedule as many people as possible that need it, then ship it to the next one on the list, same for the next person, etc. That way you only pay for shipping it out, not both in and out.
If Doc or Mike's plates are available and one is in a closer shipping zone to you, that will save some $.

BTW, how big a bore?
I know mine can do a 3.50", maybe a 3.53"(I'd have to double check the size).

I appreciate your generious offer. We're up here in Minnesota and would only need to rent your torque plate out for 1 day and then return it the next. Seymore Pederson stopped by yesterday to check out the project and I asked him if he knew of anyone local that had a torque plate locally, but he couldn't think of anyone. I'll gladly pay you in advance for the shipping and rental fee and make sure you get it back asap. We are only going .030" oversize to maintain as much wall thickness as possible so your 3.50" would be just fine.
