Yes. The full-field test you say you did involves the use of a voltmeter. What reading did you obtain?

When the ignition switch is "on", it should feed +12v to the voltage regulator's "IGN" terminal. Turn the ignition on and put a voltmeter across the regulator's "IGN" terminal and ground. You should see battery voltage. If you do not, there's a fault in the ignition switch or the wiring between it and the regulator. Then check for continuity between the regulator's "FLD" terminal and the alternator's field terminal.

If the reading was about 11 with the full-fielding test being done properly, then the alternator's defective and needs to be rebuilt. Heed the cautions in this thread about not buying "remanufactured" parts.
