Or you could try a right hand drive spec '62 Valiant - box mounts to the chassis rail tucked way down the 'tight' side of the slant, not a lot of room to get in there to do anything! Even the pipes for the remote filter get in the way (Australian slants used a remote filter since the steering box sits where the oil filter is meant to be!)
My knuckles started bleeding just thinking about that.... :?

its done and its awesome!!! that one pict is the outgoing bench @ firm feel.

i went over to auto zone the guys there are hella cool with me, and we did some serrous donuts in there parking lot to break in the box.

i'm tired wet and still cold and greasy, i wish i had a proper garage.

thanks again for everyones advice and support!

tomorrow i am gonna try to do the heater core
