What is the URL? You can just type the web address in the message text as a link.
If you want the PIC to disply in the post, just copy-paste the web address into the "optional immage URL" box. The address must be a working image file like a jpg or gif posted on the internet, not web page .htm file type.

this is the strangest thing. If you copy and paste to your address bar on your browser it takes you where you want to go. If you click the hyperlink ..it takes you to another site.

WOW!! I cut and pasted the link and opened it. When I closed it, the little red "X" had been replaced with the picture. That's Dave Evans' motor, I believe. 425 horse on alcohol.

Thats geocities for you. Yahoo does the same, they dont allow you to hotlink or link images from their servers. The only way to get them to work is to cut and paste.
