I have posted a couple of new photos of my Volare progress.I have gotten the oil pan built and welded.It now holds 8 qts and is baffled in the rear.I'll post some new phots next week.I modified the valve cove for EVAC tubes and built in a PCV system for street driving.Easy enough to plug and unplug as needed.Motor is in the assembley room,maby done nex week,I'll get and post some photos.727 Specilities emailed today and the trans is done and should ship tomorrow.trying to get done foe Vegas.I'm looking to rent,borrow or buy a 81/4 rear end.I'm so outta time and MONEY!Trans cooler mounted and finishing the radiator brackets.I'm trying my best(skipping band practice) to get it done and not have to show up in a rental(no offence Slantzilla).Even though my CC is hemoraging I'm gonna donate $50.00 to this site and would encourage everyone else to donate what thay can.If it wasn't for this site I would have stuffed a 440 in it and been done.But like you guys I dance to a diffrent drummer.Thanks for the support. www.flickr.com/photos/emptypockets/

I think that is a cool ride, I never cared to much for the Aspen Volare family I thought they were too new for my liking, for that ride I gladly make an exception. If you make it to vegas this year I hope I can get some pictures and chat it up. Sorry, but this year I'll be racing a diffrent six cylinder, the kind that runs on Diesel.

Well I'm still waiting for the motor man to finish assembling my motor.I recieved my transmission fron Keith @ 727 Specilities,looks like he did a great job,except the Fex Ex people apparently don't care and broke the left rear corner off the valve body!In the process of filing a cliam and to get it replaced.Radiators all mounted,fuel and Ing. system.I just keep hitting road block after roadblock.Motor is supposed to be done the end of next week.Going to give Fed Ex till monday to pay this claim or I'm going to have to send the tranny back to Keith and eat it untill they pony up.Still trying to complete it to drive out to Vegas in March.It gets dimmer and dimmer everday.I'll post some additional photos this weekend.
