Sounds great, but I still say racing it is not an option as I don't think this car would be quick enough in stock form to take a prize in the go fast category, but I'd definitely be game to cruise down with some other guys, especially since my luck would probably leave me stranded half way there on the side of the road.
I'd need the other guys to save my butt.

You don't have to be fast to win bracket races, just consistent! When my '72 Dart was still a Slant 6 and completely stock I won a few Friday Night "Trophy Dash" awards with it running high 19s in the quarter mile. It drove some of the faster guys crazy having a "really slow" car that cost $1,500 beating their Mega Buck sub 10 second drag cars, but I was the one with the trophy
Seriously though, you should really consider entering the bracket race. You can honestly go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable with and will meet some really great folks in the process. Besides, Charrlie needs some more support for the points race after last year's low attendance because of the fires down there.
Oh,... I'm finally using my home computer (it's 3:00 am) so I can see your photos....

That Notchback is absolutely awesome! (even if it does have funky headlights

) Beautiful car!
