i have an 80 chevy 4x4 with an sm465 trans, my clutch pedel engages tight, its not a rough engage, but tight. the z bar (i think thats what it is called) bent where it hooks to the acuator bolt all the way to the frame side and would not engage, after i replaced the zbar, it does not bend but still is tight, now it starts to slide off the pivot ball on the outer end of the bell housing, and will slide too far and will not engage all the way, it will not stay against that pivot ball please help

thank you

A Chrysler bellcrank (z-shaft) has some small holes in the side where the bushings ride, a clip fits in through the holes and holds the bushings in position, this keeps the bellcrank from moving out of alignment.
