Is there a 4 barrel intake manifold that will bolt to the factory exhaust manifold using the center stud.

My AC bracket anchors to this stud.

In the future I would like to use the front casting for a Dutra setup.

I am just planning the next stages for my buildup.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The Offy 4bbl intake will bolt to a stock ex man, BUT the stud ends up almost underneath the carb.
You may not be able to bolt the AC bracket there, but I'm sure it can be moved somewhere else - maybe one of the engine lifting holes on the top of the head??

Thanks, that is what I needed to know. I was thinking about moving the bracket over there.

This is true, I just ground down that bolt a little bit. I have the Offy intake with a Dutra manifold on the front, and a mod. factory manifold on the rear.

I was able to put a clifford intake on with the factory exhaust. I had to plate off the heat riser on the exhaust with a chunk of 3/16" steel plate and a normal heat riser gasket. The intake needed to have some material removed from the bottom side. It is cast with enough material on the bottom that would probably allow one to machine it to accept the exhaust in a normal way. I didn't care about that, so I cut that boss off and capped off the heat riser and it worked great.

Side note. Those bottom triangle washers near the center of the head are real hard to get on. I tack welded a small piece of wire to the washer so I could dangle it in from above and hold it in place while I fead the nut in from underneath. After it's all assembled, I just folded the wire back down out of sight.
