Below is a picture of the original water valve on my 74 Dart. Anybody know if these valves are still produced like this. I think the part number was 3579-173.

I bought the following from Rockauto, but it is much larger than the original.

That seems to be the correct number. That is a discontinued dealer part. It is available "aftermarket", but might be visually different. If you need the OEM correct valve, these places show it in stock. Be aware it will be, most likely, pricey.
