Has anyone ever ran one of these on there slant?My friend gave me one to run on mine but I'm not sure about the chokeless part?Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Is that the mechanical secondary carb that was so cheap the secondary side didn't even get an accelerator pump? The chokeless part will be a pain in cold weather starting, but the lack of secondary accelerator pump will likely be a pain every time you open the secondaries. I'll keep my electric choke vacuum secondary Holley 390.

Yep, or you can still order the Holley 1848, which is a 450 cfm 4160 carb if you need the extra little bit of flow... (I have one of these for the summer tuning on the Hpak duster since the 390 is a bit small for it, but 600 is too much, and I wanted to start fresh on dialing in a new carb and wanted to convert to a manual choke for winter driving...

I took the choke off of my 4160 over a year ago. I drive it daily and have no cold starting problems, hit the gas turn the key and hold it at 1800 rpm for 1 1/2 - 2 min and drive off.

no just ran it stock.the jet size i believe is .058.it can be a little much if it is a stock motor but it still works good.it got me around town.
