This first picture is of the ignition coil. Mine in red and if your follow the center spark plug wire from the distributor cap (the one you changed that new) to the coil, which is under the front most spark plug. Mine is kind of hidden by the coiled up hose and wire in this picture.

The ballast resister. This part in at the top and 2/3rd to the right in this picture. I is right next to my washer fluid resivor in the corner of the engine bay. It is white and has two wire prongs on it. Your may have 4, as I didn't look what year your car is, but it will look alot like this one. Its made of ceramic.

are you guys sure its the ignition coil, those usually never break. Oh well ill just R&R it either way ((R&R is Remove and replace)) So R&R the Ballast resistor?

Has the timing chain been ever replaced on your car... if it's a bit loose it can also get kind of salty when things warm up (or if it still has the nylon cam gear and it's chipped a tooth....)
