I have a 74 factory a/c Dart with a 73 slant six engine and a 1920 Holley. I am trying to reinstall the original black on black, black on white, black on yellow, etc ribbed hoses from the vacuum amplifier to the various locations on the car. My 73 hoses are in bad shape but I found some from a 73 Valiant and they are totally different from my 73 hoses.

Does anybody have a 73 vacuum hose diagram with colors listed that you could scan, including the two hoses that attach to the CCEGR on the radiator? I have a 73 factory manual, but per previous posts, I want to be sure I hook this up correctly.

My OSAC is on the air cleaner (my car is a 74 and I don't have the Holley 1945 attached) and not on the firewall as the 73 models were. I also don't have that little square box on my passenger firewall next to the ground that goes to the manifold.

Leave the OSAC disconnected; just run the vacuum hose directly from the carburetor's spark advance port to the distributor vacuum advance. You may want to eliminate the EGR function as well, depending on how the car is set up and driven.

"Little square box on my passenger firewall next to the ground that goes to the manifold"...? :?:

I removed them as Dan suggests and have been very happy!

No more pinging or sluggish response. :D

Dan, ebay item 140267442127 has a 74 Dart Swinger for sale. The last picture just above the blower motor on the firewall is the little square box I described. What is it?

That EGR timer went into the junk bin also. If you remove all the EGR hoses and EGR valve and block it, the engine will run very well, have lots of punch and get good mileage. Mine sure does.
It is much more fun to drive. :D
