Hi Guys,

I ran across a set of NOS plug wires for a Slant six. What's something like that worth?

Thanks !

:D

They are worth little unless they are the correct date code for someone that is doing a very accurate restoration.

Why is this a bummer? Slant six cars are by and large economy cars and are typically treated as such. They are certainly more economical to own and drive than muscle cars.

I saw sets going for about $19 on E-bag a while back.

How old are they? I'd be more concerned about the wires breaking down from old age. :?

Well, correct high quality factory parts are typically worth more than aftermarket Made in China junk when talking about V8 parts. Your comments above and the other post indicating $19 doesn't show any value on these compared to the aftermarket stuff. That's a bummer to me.

I was hoping to trade these to a buddy of mine for some stuff for my car. I didn't expect them to be worth $100. But, maybe $50? Anyway, thanks for the input.

Anything is worth exactly what you can get someone to pay you for it. I've seen used stuff on the Bag going for more than you can buy brand new ones for. :?

Don't think you're going to see $50 out of these, no. I see 'em go by on eBay pretty often for $20 to $40.
