Here is the 1974 Plymouth 'Gold Duster' I purchased bought back in May of 2008 for $1,300.00. It is currently located in San Bernardino, CA and I am still trying to get it shipped here.
Anyone coming to the Milwaukee, WI / Chicago, Il / Detroit, MI areas wanna make a $1,000.00???

It is a 1974 Plymouth 'Gold Duster'. It's an original 225 slant car with an automatic transmission, A/C, power disk brakes, power steering, fold down rear seat, 3-speed variable wipers...
A nice rust free California car. Clean, clean, clean. It does have bumps/bruises here and there though.

It isn't perfect but has a nice solid body and runs & drives so it's a great way to start in my eyes.

Here is the fender tag and the codes:

I also have the original .870" 340 torsion bars out of my 1974 Dart Sport. They should add some more fun factor to the car then the .850" slant six with A/C bars would. Someday I'd like to step up to the .890" bars if I come across them reasonably enough.

I also picked up these 15 x 8.5" slotted aluminum mags for the rear from a fellow member who I met in Chicago a couple weekends ago. I am going to run 255/60R-15s on them. These are the correct 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern wheels not the typical uni-lug pieces.

I finally picked up a nice set of 15 x 4.5" front runner slotted aluminum mag wheels. These are only the 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern. They only have a 2-inch backspace, but they'll have to do for now. I'll be running 185/65R-15s on these.

I went on eBay this monring and bought this steel rod reinforced ABS reproduction 1970 Go Wing. Only $120.00 shipped brand new I figured had to give one a try.
I used a $160.00 reproduction one with awesome results on our old 1973 Plymouth 'Cuda 318.
It may have been born with a slant, but no reason it can't look like a firebreathing 340 muscle car.
Other then a black 340 style stripe with "225" callouts and small interior bits I beleive I have everything taken care of.

I forgot something else I have for the car. I picked up a nice original 'Tuff Wheel' for it, then I picked up a new reproduction piece as well. I will probably put the nice reproduction one in here and use the original in the Dart Sport.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff to buy before you even see the car in person. Any word on a dash pad? I envy you for having all the pieces in place for a fresh project before you even begin.

No need for envy. It isn't that I planned ahead, just circumstance really.
This is the first car I have been fortunate enough to do this with. Mostly because I am too cheap to give into inflated shipping prices and have a seller who is willing to let the car sit as long as I need it to.

I have had a few A-bodies in the past and have had some of the factory parts laying around taken up space.
I also am working on other A-bodies as well so when I buy one of something I usually purchase 2 or even 3 which I can usually get a small bulk discount on and it saves me on extra shipping too. Some stuff like the starters & master cylinders will fit most mopars so I can get a few of them and use them on whatever I am driving or am building when I come to it.
Same goes for the tuff wheel. I have had those for a few years now, just finally deciding to start using some of this stuff up before it all gets misplaced, stolen, destroyed, or what have you.

If something doesn't work out and I decide not to keep the this Duster, all the bits and pieces will go to putting together another one of my Mopars.
