Hey Guys!
well I'm starting on my 73/74 duster and want to restore the engine to its ORIGINAL color
so I need some color advice or maybe somebody has a picture of the engine and engine related parts.
as you can see on my website, there is not much of the original color left all I can see is that the engine was blue but I have no idea what the original color was of the intake-exhaust manifold, pulley's, brake master cylinder, alternator support etc etc etc.
Thanks for any help
Alain

The origional color is blue, and I bought Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Chrysler Corp. Blue DE1631, and it looks exactly the same as the orgional stuff. The pullys, fan, power steering pump, engine mounts were black. The engine, intake, valve cover, water pump, alt support, etc. were the blue. I dont know about the exhaust, but I painted mine with Por 15 manifold paint, and it looks pretty good, as seen in this pic.

The engine would originally have been painted Chrysler's own corporate colour of blue. This paint is widely and easily available in North America in plain or spray cans; it's probably more difficult to find in Europe. I'm sure there's got to be a POR15 importer where you are; they make good quality engine paint in the correct "Chrysler Blue" colour. Also get black.

Engine block, head, valve cover + fasteners, oil cap, oil and water pump body, vibration damper, lower alternator bracket, upper alternator bracket bolt (cylinder head end), intake manifold + fasteners, oil pan + fasteners, thermostat housing, upper engine mount bracket + hardware: Chrysler Blue

Air cleaner, upper alternator bracket, crankshaft accessory drive pulleys (front power steering and/or rear air conditioning -- if car so equipped), rear engine-to-transmission bracket plates, power steering pump, air pump, and air conditioner compressor and brackets (if car so equipped): Black
