I second the vote for the tuning kit (#1486, I think) It is worth it's weight in gold.
I did have to buy a set of rods off Ebag (70x52).....that's what I'm running now. 70x52 rod+yellow spring+.086 primary jet. Secondaries are currently .089....but I think it's a little rich.
Yeah.....primaries measure the same......but they are "smaller" due to the large booster. Cheap, but effective...

A 375HP 440 AVS would be closer to 750cfm. The lowpo 350HP had a smaller carb.

I think I have seen 450 AFB's that Carter used to make. Memory is fuzzy as I never needed a tiny 4bbl like that.
