I doint have to look at nos I just wanted to know how much it would cost to build one of these turbo manifolds. If you have the expertise maybe you could make some money at it. Thanks Ron Parker :D
PS I already have a stainless steel turbo exhust manifold custom built for a t-4 turbo ready to bolt on.

I think Ron likes to look at NOS in his RVM.

I think your wording maybe is what it tripping you up and such. You must mean you have a set of stainless tube headers that are built for a turbo. To me these are bent tubes that weld together of equal length, though overall length have no grounds like the scavanging or plenum or regular N/A headers.
A manifold from my shallow expirence would mean a cast piece, which I can only pour aluminum with our electric foundry. However, what I proposed above was sort of a simple adaptor you might say that bends up or down to adapt the turbo to his stock manifold. Few people will actually need the stainless steel header setup for the power they will make the slant. They should/probably be more concerned about tuning and pistons. However, the headers I could probably build but the cost would be similar to the aussie guys or I would have to keep them for myself. I've considered making slant six stuff and will probably continue to try but this is a hard market. For most guys they will keep in under 12lbs which will be fine with the adaptor I metioned above. Since you will have to run at least an intercooler if not something else to help cool your charge.

Nope not with my intended engine build. Can run about 12 lbs of boost with out an intercooler. Its Racing Magic stay tuned. Ron Parker :D

I am still here and still trying to improve the velocity and the header length. I am using spd components. I will post some pics soon.

James,

I am still interested in a manifold, as I posted in the Engine forum. PM me and I'll send my phone # and we can talk.

Lou

This may be the wrong thread but I'm curious about turbo set ups.
From what I have read, besides the doityourselforpay$$$foramanifold, I was wondering about placement of the turbo, it seems closer to the exiting exhaust is ideal for spinning speed and you get high psi depending on the length of the turbo outlet/intake inlet.
What about the turbo down the line in the exhaust? It seems like boost psi would be less of an issue. I would think that this would be more beneficial with a higher revving engine only though. As well, you could get a ram effect with the long air intake. But the world of turbos is a new one for me .....Just something I was pondering...

I am moving this post over to the Engine forum because posts here will "expire" in 60 days.
