What do I need to do to my slant 6 in my 74 Valiant to get the maximum horse power and performance? And how much power can I get out of it with your recommendations? Thanks!

What will you use the car for? Daily driving or some type of racing??

With that kind of money and a commitment to work, you can make a pretty fast car. Is ALL of that $5k for drivetrain work?

There are many opinions on how to make the "fastest" setup, and it depends a lot on your intentions for use. What is your intended use for the car - street driver, autoX, road race, full drag???

Also, less time to spend means spending more money, no way around it, but $5k will get you pretty far in a short time.
