Is/was there an overdrive available for A904 trannies?

How is an overdrive even installed? Is it bolt-in or does the tranny have to be torn apart?

Excuse my inane babbling I'm fighting insomnia at 3:15 AM here...

This topic has been covered in detail many times. Please use the search function on this site and the .com site.

In a nutshell - you can bolt on an OD, but only by calling Gear Vendors and spending about $2400. The A500 auto OD can be adapted to the Slant by using an adapter plate (search "A500").
