Don't laugh. Slant races were originally 16 car qualified fields. That ended when we started consistently getting over 20 cars. :D

Maybe the track should put this up as a "Slant Six Points Race" with NHRA SUMMIT SUPER SERIES ET Drag Racing. As I'll bet there will be more slant sixes than anything else there.

I talked to Randy Jones, he and his son Scott (the 7 foot tall teanager) have been out to a number of our races as spectators.
He is working to get their 62 Lancer road worthy for the drive to Redding. He is a solid 'may-be' at this point.

So the police shouldn't give us any problems.
I dig the cruise idea. I'd be willing.
