Any genius tricks out there for getting a bushing out?

I got a puller, but it won't do the job. Too short.

Thanks

I've been told this works , but have never tried this. Pack the cavity in side the pilot bushing with stiff grease , take care that there is no trapped air.
insert a round metal rod the same size as the ID. of the bushing, drive the rod in with a stout blow from a hammer. The idea is the force of the blow will cause the grease to exert hhydrolicpressure , and force the bushing , most of the way out. if you try it let me know if it works , I'm about to change mine.
