I have a 66 valiant that I purchased American racing outlaw II wheels for. They have a rim width of 7 inches and a diameter of 14 inches. What size tires can I run without fender interference ? I was thinking of P215/60R14. Will these fit ?

Yes, those will fit and are a great size for that rim on that car. Make sure you have enough backspacing, though. 3.75 - 5" is a good range. 4.5 is perfect.

What's the backspacing or offset?

backspacing is 4 inches. I believe these wheels were made just for he valiant because of the 5 x 4 bolthole spacing.

4" backspace with 215/60s or 225/60s will be perfect.

That's what we have on our car. And yes we picked them because they seemed like the only thing out there you could buy new with the small bolt pattern =). Really puts a damper on getting gunmetal Torque Thrusts on the Valiant hehe. I believe we got 14x6's and we didn't have any clearance probs.

I have 215/70R14 on factory steelies, and I can get them to just barely catch the fender lip on the front at full lock, over big bumps/dips. I think maybe 3-4 times in 4k miles. So you should be good with 60 series.
