I lashed the valves on my CompCams 252S cam (factory settings 0.010/0.012) to 0.010 and 0.015. The idle is nice, but now I have a high speed miss. It feels like a spark plug is grounding out. This only happens under load and heavy acceleration. I just want to confirm whether it is rrelated to the valve lashing or not.

I would look elsewhere for this problem — I think if it were lash-related, it would be more uniform across all cylinders. If it feels like an ignition fault, it probably is!

If it wasn't there before you adjusted the valves, it is most likely related to what you did.

Make sure you didn't knock a plug wire loose.

Possibly a tight valve.
