The paint code on my 62 is DW4. In my manual it doesn't address two tone cars but I'm going to assume that what it is Medium Metallic Blue/White but what does the 4 mean?? All the codes in my manual end in 1.
Thanks.
Joe

"1" indicates single-tone paint. Other numbers indicate various configurations of two-tone, as far as where the colour break line is and that kind of thing. You can pick up actual paint formula codes at http://www.autocolorlibrary.com .

Hi Joe,

This may or may not help department:
See if you have a build tag located on the left forward inner fender. This is a small 1.25" X 2.25"+/- metal tag with several lines of stamped numbers & letters. When this tag is decoded will give all the colors used on your car, and other information about the car. Your older car may have this tag located some other place other than the inner fender.
