I finally got to drive the 66 Dart Ive been assembling for my wife.
I put disc brakes off a 75 Duster, 14" wheels, lowered 2". Its a slant 170 with a three one the tree. I did a head job on the thing due to burned valves. But Jesus, what a dog. This thing can barely get outta its own way.
Everything is fine motor wise, runs real smooth. But Way to slow. Anyone have a225 for sale and lives near Los Angeles Ca.
How about a supersix two barrel assembly.?? Anything??
I'm in the process of gathering parts for a T-5 swap. So I definantly need more power to drive the fifth gear.
Josh

Good progress...
I know what you have with a 1bbl 170, the only way to help a 170 is to give it some cam and carb so it can rev-up, then you stick some low gears in the rear and it's kinda fun.
You can get a "nothing fancy" 170 to rev to 6500 with-out a problem, that is, if you can get air/fuel through it.

Doctor Dodge,
Thank you for the reply. I will work on it. I have a 3.8 supercharger off a ford supercoupe I want to install on a 225. Maybe I will start adapting it.
