 Post subject: valve lash

I just rebuilt a 225 slant six and have a MP cam 0.460 lift 268 dur. It recommends .016 int .020 exh can i run the lash a little tighter or should I stick with the recommended spec

I tend to run the lash on the MP 268/.460 at .016 and .024

Try a few different settings to get the best mix of idle quality and noise control. Best to have at least 9 to 1 compression with this cam.
