Josh- Yeah, but wht's that orange and black thing where the slant should be?

Dusterteen- I have been tempted to paint engine bays black just to clean them up if they are rusty or dirty. Easy to repair and hides stains well. Do what you like with your car! Most importantly, keep working on it and someday you will be able to drive it.

That orange and black thing was an easy way to make about 400hp. It's a 1978 E58 (HP) 360 with bigger intake valves, a Crane Energizer cam and...

a B&M Powercharger. I expect about 450 ft/lbs of torque. :D

Don't make me put my 440 in there! I don't have a blower for the 440, but I do have a NOS Super Powershot plate system. I don't think the Ford 8" rear end is going to be happy with the 360 let alone a 440, but the 2.80 gears will help it survive. It really depends a lot on the tires I use. If the tires hold less torque than the axle shafts it will live a while. If I do brake an axle in the 8" I'll just have to narrow the C-body 8 3/4 I have stashed under the work bench.

Touchup is even easier if you paint the car with Rustoleum ...
