I love that 75 Duster! Nice clean body and a tough looking stance. It seems almost like (forgive me for saying this) it should have a small block under the hood. It is great though to see the slant 6 under there!

Thanks, I wish that i had photos of all the body work i had to do on it but ohwell. I'll keep a better photo documentation on the dart. Have the hood on the duster now and lowered the front a few inches, have pics soon, the car looks great. Paint and interior left and it will be complete!

It has started to look like it will run, hopefully by this weekend! I cant wait to hear this engine come to life! The duster is going to get painted next week so everything is sort of falling into place, still need to go thru the interior. So much to do so little money to do it with but its worth every penny :D

Looking good, wicked! Keep up the good work. I know how it feels to make progress on the little car when you don't have a heap of funds to work with. I've had my baby blue for 12 years but just started working on it 2 years ago.

Will check back for more pics. :)

Finally i have got the duster back on the road! I fired the engine today and it started on the second crank, the 20 minutes a 2000rpm was nerve wracking but everything when smooth! This is the first engine i have put together and i am already thinking of the next one in my 74 Dart. It feels good to be back driving the slant(saves me gas). I can't wait to have this engine broke in and to be able to really get into it to feel the differance the cam and balanced bloke make, it already idles way better than the old engine!

Thanks for watching the progress :)

Alright i guess i should let everyone in on the details of my build its been long enuff! The short block is a BH block 30 over with cast pistons and stock rods full balance and blue print. I had the head ported and polished with SI valves(1.70 1.44). Had 40 thousands shaved off which gave me 55 cc's
The cam is a 425 lift Joe Delong other than that i have no clue, probly just a bit more than stock.
Clifford 4bbl intake and J.R. Pierce headers(6-1)old mopar part. The carb is a holley 600 vac secondary with a 2" spacer under it.
The comp came to 8.5 to 1 and i wanted to supercharge it but have plans to shot it with nitrous within the next few trips down the track!

Thanks for looking in!

It's looking really good!
Though if you'd like some constructive criticism-I think it would look better in my driveway!

Wicked nice /six.

Could you post a photograph of your carburetor linkage from each side of the car. I have a Holley 390 8007 and would like to mount it east & west like yours.

You have done a nice job.
