When I found it, I thought it was a creepy Winnie the Pooh van after Reed brought it to my attention. It might as well have said "Free Candy"

That's from a couple weeks before I found the owner. The van is safe now (except for all the snow around it)... bodywork coming up in spring!

Sorry about your keyboard!

Hello, I'm new here.

I recently acquired an 86 Van with a /6 in it. It runs, but won't go past 50. It does have an automatic trans in it, but it leaks like a sieve.

And yes, it's ugly.

I want to bring it back from morbidity. Can y'all help me?

Thanks

I'm in Albuquerque. The trans appears to be leaking from the front seal and the pan. It does start fairly easy and will idle fine. When at idle, however, it appears to be idling too rich (black sooty exhaust). I need to do a compression test on the motor to see if it's worth spending money on the old thang. I got for next to nothing ($25).

As far as the lack of speed is concerned, only thing I haven't tried yet is unbolting the cat. It may be clogged.

And thanks for the welcome. :D

Actually I try to avoid joggers at all cost both public and private.I have done a most remarkable job of cleaning the bits and pieces of bicycles and fanny packs off the front don't you think?

little bit of paint and it will be good as new I like the mirrors you have to be able to see the stuff behind you before you run it over
