Ok first off i got a slight miss at idle and im short of ideas now that i replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I re timed it but ive heard that the vibration dampener can become loose over time. Ive checked all the hoses and they seem fine. Second this may sound kind of dumb but can u adjust the valves on an 81 or later hydraulic lifters? And third where can i get a shift improver kit or transpack for an 81 Dodge D-150? Every where i look they only go up to 1977, so im wondering whats the difference between these tranies? I know mine has the "highway" gear so this might be harder to find one to fit it. I dont know, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks

A 81 SL6 should be hydraulic lifters and non-adjustable... but you should be able to look inside the valve, thru the oil filler hole to confirm.
