I discovered a leak in my rad today while I was installing my new torsion bars. Lucky for me, I have a 22" rad from a 1980 Aspen to replace it with. Unlucky for me, the upper inlet on the new rad is 1¼" whereas the rad hose is 1½". Is there a hose that will adapt from the 1½" outlet on the water pump to the 1¼"
inlet on the rad? Any other way to make this work?

Thanks in advance,

Nat

slip a short length (2") of the 2 .25 hose over the rad inlet. Install the 2.5 hose over the 2.25 hose and clamp.

I thought about that, but I wasn't sure if it was kosher. Should I double clamp it?
