I put a stock 170 head on my moder in the red car while I send the good one out to Blaine for a little freshen up. I may be slow enough now that you could whoop me.

Bagel my friend i dont give a hoot what you put on your moder, Gary was degree in my cam and in two weks the bagel buster moder is going in the car this should work out good for Columbus. A couple of weeks of test and race and its off to the races. My brother Bruce gave me for my birthday a certification of Possum racers of America, i also have a cap with that same certification as president. So now i am president of two major clubs of America. The other one is the Smart Ass White Boys of America. Remember Bagel with what your are dealing with is not your regular montaing boys, a true slant racer to the bone. Say you will be at Columbus i will buy you dinner on me if you come. :D :D :D

Sorry Possum, but I won't be at Columbus. After tha clusterf*** there 2 years ago I said I'd never set foot in National Trails again, and I won't. It has nothing to do with the Slant racers, just the facility itself. Also, there is a points race at RT66 that weekend too.

About the only Slant race that doesn't have a points race against it is Milan. I may go there, but I'm not sure.

Good luck with the new moder buddy! I'm hoping that maybe Doc will pop in here and post the pic of what I was up to today.

Bagel i know what you mean at Columbus. But were are trying for a National Championship and i have to go. Milan is a race i plan on attending also this year, so maybe we can go at it there. We will also have a juice bottle but it may be hard to pull the trigger until our slant six season is over are i am out of the points picture. I have a lot of money in the bagel buster moder and i don't want to undo it in the middle of the season. Later dude Possum Parker :D :D

Well, Milan will be about my only shot at a Slant race this year. It's amazing how a track that only has 9 races can put almost every one against a Slant race isn't it? My goal is to win a Sportsman championship this year, since it will probably be my last year in that class. (I hope)

I didnt know you guys had such a bad experience. Classic Events and Cox Bros have been working real hard for six years to make the Columbus slant six race a great experience and I believe it is getting better every year. And for the facility, National Trails has nothing to do with running the show. The one year you raced, I believe we had staging lane problems do to an ex-classic events employee who could not find his a$$ with both hands.
If you have constructive criticism on how to make Slant Six racing better, I am all ears, but I believe cluster F--- is a little extreme for what went on at Columbus a couple of years back. The Chrysler Classic event experience is the best bang for the buck anywhere. Free Tee shirt, no entry fee for the slant race (you can run in two classes) good pay-outs and some of the most fierce competition in the country. I hope you will give a Chrysler Classic another chance and go home with different feelings.

Guest, I don't know who you are, and it doesn't really matter. I will gladly discuss this in private if you would like to e-mail me. slantzilla@excite.com
