This is somewhat premature, but I like to plan for events well in advance.
Since this event is in my hometown, I thought I would put out an invitation to all who would like to come down the day before and relax Saturday evening, before going to the track at 7 am on Sunday.

For those of you who would like to camp out at my place, we have 5 acres, 14.5 miles south of the track and it is easy to get to. Water hookup available and some electicity as well, to run lights and minor things. Easy access from the street. For your enjoyment, we also have a pool.

On Sunday after the race, Elsa and I are planning a BBQ for all the Killer Bees, with plenty of food, beer, sodas for all. I will be taking that Monday off as well so if you would like, you can stay over Sunday night and start home Monday morning. Dogs and kids are welcome.
I want to encourage everyone to come down to the race so don't be shy. We live in the country and I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

Hy David ,thats a very generous offer specially for anyone coming from the south or nevada. Let us know if you need any help or if we need to bring a dish or whatever for the barbeque.

Sounds like a good plan...
Are you close to Hwy. 99 or Grant Line Rd.??

Highway 99 and Dilliard is the closest intersection. Not too far from Grant Line. It's in between Grant Line and Twin Cities Road.

Yes, Grant Line Rd. is the exit just north of the one I would have you come down on. Easier to get to my place from Dillard which is the next exit south. Just a couple of miles.

For the Sunday BBQ you won't have to bring anything. However, I will be BBQing Saturday evening as well and if you would like to bring a side dish and drinks, that would be great. I believe Elsa will be cooking Lumpia and you don't want to miss that.

Just in case any of you were wondering, there is plenty of shade to park under so if it is rather warm, you won't have to park in the sun.

As far as racing goes, I still have some work to do after the mishap at Infineon.

I will start the list:

1 Dave Endres (our host)
2 Glen
3 John
4 Sergio
5 PJ & Ed (?)
6 Doug Dutra
7 Allen Dutra
8 Andrew ( and team?)
9 Guzzi Mark
10 Wayne Erickson (?)
11 David Erickson (?)
12 Aric Erickson (?)

Who else? - Is anyone coming from up North?

I received the event notice from Sac. raceway and we (the "Kill Bee - Slant Six Racing Club") is listed on the event flyer.

I also know that some of our team members don't not like Sac. raceway... (they have been known to "bungle" events) but try to put that aside and come-out to this race.

Does anyone have a good, working stock 1bbl carb they can lend me for the race? I think the weak link in my car is the carb, I can't get it to tune right. Or if anyone is a carb guru that could help me out, that would be great thanks.
