Come one come all! Witness the amazing features of this beautiful piece of automotive history!

Folks, what we have here is a 1965 Dodge Dart GT.

1. Yellow paint job with black racing stripes,
2. Wierd factory louvers on the bottom of the front fenders and doors,
3. A "Holey" slant six :?
4. Console Shift Automatic!
5. Remote mirror!
6. Power Windows!
7. A black vinyl interior with great carpet,
8. Cracked dash pad,
9. Front bucket seats!

For sake of Ceej's internet connection speed (and all others like it) I will only post these pictures on this page. The next page, when it gets there, I will post more pics if needed.

The link to my photobucket with all of the pics is HERE

As I mentioned in the other thread, I am doing a trade/parts/labor deal directly through Ed to get a deal on this car that I can afford.

I should have it home within a week! Yay!

The automatic is coming out, and a nice A-230 is going into it's place. So will still be floor-shifted, just, manually....

Cool! Never seen an A-body with power windows before. That must be a VERY rare factory option.

You and MiDi both! I'd never actually seen a 65 GT until this one, most of the ones I see are 63-64 which have very different badging. I think it looks pretty nifty myself.

Those look like gm window switches. I wonder if someone swapped power windows in at some point. I'd be interested to see what's behind doorpanel number one.

Nice find THOR. I wish the cars in the North East were only half as rust free as that car of yours.

Mmmmm. More like YELLER.

I think it has a fair bit of uranium yellow cake in it. I have an extra battery in the trunk just to run the paint job; well, that is what I tell people at the shows when they comment on its shade.
