The Woodburn race was a blast! :D

Doug Powers took the show with his E85 powered slant six, running in the 13's.

Here's how things shook out!

I'll post more photos later,

Well, the inline/flathead race ran today and had 15 cars. 8 slant cars and 7 others. By the semi finals there were only slant cars left. The final was between Sergio and myself, and I got the red light with a -.010

I am so bummed that I couldnt make it.... The car is running perfectly, all it needs now is the rear driver brake assembly put together. I had to wait till today to go up and get the parts from Wildcat, and will get it together tomorrow.

I dumped about 70 bucks in parts this weekend to get some things sorted out.

Thanks Ceej for coming up to help me out! I apologize that I wasn't able to make it, but I will make at least 1 race this year!

Thia race was a blast, congratulations to Doug Powers,he is a very good experienced racer. Sunday was even better we had eight slanters and eight inliners. We pared up against them as best as we could,It didnt look so good after the first round as we lost some of our top guys,Glen Doug richard and alethea went out first round. 2nd round the remaining inliners were taken care of by Dave Mueller,Mike Bjerklund,John Terry and I.THe semis had Mike defeat John and Dave had a .003 red light, he went around me on the top end like a rocket, would have been a really tight race if he was green. UNfortunately Mke also red lit in the finals but we both got a good payout and some nice plaques. Thanks again to all for the great hospitality provided by the northern group specially Dave and Alethe Mueller and Doug Powers.

One of my High School buddies was running this up at Woodburn over the weekend:

He was putting down 8.50's until his converter went away on him.

He's a paint and body man by trade. Oh, figured that out already did you?
