So, the big question... Was the 9-car turnout enough for another meet next year? I know a lot can change in 362 days, but as of right now, how much interest is there in a sequel?

For what it's worth, I'll commit to creating a t-shirt design for the race/gathering. I've got a whole year to get the Swinger ready for a drive to Nebraska, but even if I can't, I've made the decision to attend either way (and you guys can make lewd comments about my Mazda as entertainment!).

How many of you are with me?

I'm gonna do everything within my power to get the Swinger drivable and make it to the race for a pass down the track. If I can't, I'm tempted to make the trip in my '08 Mazda, but it would be considerably less fun...
That's what you said last Febuary

The weird part, is I used to work with a guy a few years back that hailed from Amarillo...when he got excited about something, you couldn't understand anything he said...the worst part was watching KOTH and then listening to him...and he sounded EXACTLY like Boomhauer...that kind of scary...

I'd like to meet some faces I only type to on the web, I'll tentatively mark the date on next years calender and see if I can help 'up' the car count...

Great. Would be great to meet a bunch more folks. Heck, DI and I have "known" each other for 10 years and never met!

Mike J and I will start working with dates sooner this year, and probably get one in June or at least earlier in the summer.

Cheers,

Lou

BTW, we had a purse total of $700 and there was also $600 in bounty/bonuses paid out to winners by Seymour and Dennis. Everyone got their pay in back at least.

Sergio took home $200 for the win, plus Seymour's $500 for being from >900 mi away and winning the race.

Thanks to all who participated and contributed!!

Lou
