I got a question ,If a car assembled in england by Austun and sold in america by Hudson and then Nash, whos company was sold to Rambler who was sold to American Motors who was sold to Chryseler, could that car (a Nash metropolitan with a Plymouth Slant 6 and drivetrain) compete in a mopar only event? I,ve Seen some really cool metros with V8s on the net, some with new front suspension some streached, and some where the driver's seat was moved back. anybody seen one with a slant ? Bruce

Bruce, are you reading my mind? I am negotiating, on a Metro, that somebody had started to pro street. Already has a ford rear, MustangII front end, and a frame. The rest of the car is just a shell. To be able to build this car with a slant and auto trans, the wheelbase has to be streched. Hot Wheels has a diecast metropolitan, called the metrorail. If this deal goes through, I want to copy it. I already have another set of fenders, and hood, to strech the nose. Be kind of neet for my turbo engine. Right now kind of iffy.

Hope it go's well for you Charrlie,I'm starting to look for one up this way , my grand mother drove one for twelve years till she sold it in 69 and bought a 67 camaro RS. At the time everything I was buying was 1/25 scale. Bruce
