96 Dodge Van, 318 MPI, fuel pump is making a light pulsing high pitch buzz... it runs good, no problems starting any temp... is this noise normal or not?

I don't "think" the noise was there last year... new pumps are $$$ expensive!!!

My wife's '95 Lebaron convertible has an electric fuel pump that's had a pretty loud whine for about 40K miles and still works fine. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it until such time as it quits.

My wife's '95 Lebaron convetible has an electric fuel pump whine tht is quite loud, and has 70K miles on it with no problems. I wouldn't worry about the noise until it actually gives you trouble.
