The East of the Mississippi racers team points total following the Bristol race is 652 pts., not including Seymour and Frank Brent. Ron Hamby still leads with 134 pts.

Hi Brian: Just finished up at our Sacramento race..We had 13 cars and total points for Sacto @ 143 pts. with total now of 1154. We have just one more race left for 2009 (Redding)..Glen Terry has a big lead out here. I think he might again be the National points overall winner for 2009. Thanks for all your help with your points update...

More than you, tough guy.

If ya wouldn't have been skeered and come to Nebraska you'd have more. Glen went out first round there.

In all seriousness Ron, there are no races on the west coast. Wayne just makes this stuff up to screw with you Southern guys. :D :D :D :D :D

With his four highest he is around 174  but we also have one more race that could bring a ton of cars out, so he may end up with more if he continues his rampage.

In that case he has three 40 point wins and one 50 point win in four races. Is that correct. Thanks Ron Parker. :D

PS Bagel I have got more points in one season than all of your Slant racing.

Maybe so, but a Killer Bee will still be national champion again this year.

We should hold a triple elimination. Pull the east and west champions together, and let them go at it for the gold.

Save a couple bucks back and get the two points leaders together and go best two out of three! The rest of us could fill in with some show and shine! Well, except me where it comes to shine....

Glen wins 'cause he knows the rules and almost invariably has a solid package. With goobers like me, that means he wins 9/10ths of the time. Every once in a while somebody gets lucky. Odds are with the experience though. He's been at this for quite some time. '52 without a break if I haven't crossed my wires!

One of these days, I look forward to running the Honorable Ron Parker! I have an idea that will be one of the toughest passes of my young life!

He has so much weird stuff on his car, it's ridiculous. Before every round, he shows his opponent something on his car that has no point, and you lose. For me it was stripes painted with spatter paint. That was 2 years ago. The stripes are no more, but there's other things. Like the flamethrower out of the hood, and the outrageous shifter, to name a couple highlights.

Didn't bother me at Kearney... I think you have hit a protruding nail on the head, though. Ignorance is power in this case.
