:?: On the 62 dart I am reviving the park lever want release after being set. I have gotten around by leaving lever disengaged, and using the park brake when I get out. The push buttons for gear selection all work fine. Does anyone have ideas on how to rehabilitate the park setting?

Make sure the parking pawl is assembled correctly, and that the spring leg engages the cable end when you install it.
I had a heck of a time with a rebuilt transmission in my '64. The pawl assembly was misassembled by the shop. I found and repaired that, but they had made other mistakes that took longer to find and fix.
