Bagel im reading you right out of theChrysler Classic racing rules. Sportsman open to all footbrake vehiciles running 12.00 e. t. up All vehicles must beChrysler powered and will run off a 500 second full tree on their dial in with a breakout rule. Delay boxes, throttle stops, trans brakes and other electronics are not allowed in or on the vehicle. I don't care what you interpit that is the rules. They cannot be in or on the car for the Chrysler Classic . Talk to me Bagel Thanks Possum Parker

Possum, it don't matter what the rulebook says now, he won the Championship 2 years ago and was never bounced out of Tech.

You still haven't proven he has a box in the car either.

Maybe if your Bruner motor gets you into the 11's Seymour will listen to you and change the format of the Slant races, but I doubt it.

bagel i know what i saw in the car and on the carb so did other people.
i had my chance to say somethinmg 2 years ago but did not for reasons i will not discuss. so Gordie won the championship and good luck to him. If its in the car at Hamilton something will be said . it costs a lot of money to pull to seven events you know that. all i want is a fair shake you also know me i would not lie to you. so i don't have to prove anything .
thanks Possum Parker :D

Ps i think we are getting old timers brain

were going to win again someday

Possum, it don't matter if there's a box in the other car or not. It still takes big stones to go in and set up for a .50X light. Especially in the first round.

I don't think the problem is that there are too many box cars, I think you're just getting skeered.

Bagel my man there is no one in drag racing that scares me period. You don't ,Gordie dont Mike Jefferys dont Cox bros dont Charlie Myers dont Ron Hamby dont Rodney Hargis dont Will Burns dont Barry Harrison Dont Dale Rose dont The Drakes dont nobody scares me. And everybody we race. I found out eary in drag racing if you are scared dont do it. Ask Dale Rose are Norman Foster who is first in line at our strip in the right lane every weekend you know who it is. A lot of racers line up behind me because they know i have a great racing package. Scared is not about me. I was just making a point about how they index us at some races. A true sportsman ladder is 1-5, 2-6-3-7 4-8 and so on. This 1 -10 2-11 3-12 4- 13 is what the fast cars want. You should have seen the looks on the drivers at Columbus when we went to the staging lanes and they thru out our ladder and did a true sportsman ladder   . Quote from last year when i brought the subject up. Quote the fast cars should not have to race each other in the first round we dont to take a chance on being beat by a street car we have to much money in our cars. So there you go.

Bagel i was just trying to make a point for street cars that is all. I will race them all fast, faster, or the fasest. It seems like you bailed out on me and called me skeered i am not. so dont go there. if you want me you can find me ill be all allround the slant six races. Maybe i just stay focused on my racing program and go on. hell i ain't smart enuff to do anything else. Ps how many times in the last four years have you raced the Cox bros. Charlie Myers, Ron Hambey, Rodney Hargis.Barry Harrison, Will Burns. Mike Jefferys, Jason Davis ,Gary Bruner, Becky Sherfet,Gordie Stevens,Mark Goodman, Dale Rose ,Charlie Scmitt,Mike Reese, Leyton Drake and all the other fast cars, tell me Bagel I love what i do in this series i dont need a yankee to tell me i am skeered so let it go.

i race the against the best racers in the USA so suck that up

i race against the best who do you race against bagel

Ron, just so you know, in all of the Slant races I have ever attended I have raced a grand total of 3 street cars and one of them was Merill Bruner. I know where you're coming from, but you know as well as I do that nobody gives a sh*t about street cars at Slant races. :( (Nobody who has the ability to change anything anyway)

You'd better believe that when my Duster is done it will have a box in it.

I ran my red car in Box class at 41 all the time last year. Last night a guy with a 10 second Chivvy in No-Box asked me if I took my box out of the car for No-Box last night.

Bagel i have had some suscessful runs against box cars to. If i wanted a transbrake delay two step full computer car i would do it. I Could have it in by Bristol. But i like the footbrake racing. So i will stick with my program. My engine was done three weeks ago and is ready to go in but we are going with our race package until we get some shakedown time There is just two weeks between Bristol and Hamiliton We want it in By Clay City for sure. Later Possum

Gunpilot - If you do not have headers you might try putting a set on and open them up at the track. Someone said Doc suggested this at Las Vegas and it pick them up quite a bit!
