Just got a flyer, about the Bristol race, fron Hensley Performance. Unlike past years, the racing this year will be 1/8 mile. Thought I would pass this on, for anyone that didn't know this, in case they want to set up the car differently.

I would like to find out if Slant Six will be 1/4 mile. Flyer says 1/8 mile racing all weekend. If there is going to be any 1/4 mile runs, I need to change from the 5.38's to the 3.91's. Maybe the Drakes can clarify this.

Every year at Bristol the Slants would tell the track to run their bracket on the 1/4 mile. They have always let us do that.

Some of the racers really hate that because they like to run in two brackets, then get confused.... :? and let-off when they should not of.

Tom of I will need to call them to find-out what this year's plan is.

I have sent an email to the race director. I should know Monday.

The flyer I received did not have any 1/8 or 1/4 designation on it. As soon as I hear back I will post it here.

Thanks for the heads-up Charrlie.

Sorry it took so long to post this.

I was told the slant 6 race will be 1/4 like always. All other brackets will be 1/8 mile.

Someone remind Dale of this before the first round!

Just kidding Dale. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Tom i guess im scared to change engine combo in my car it is so dead on i just can't pull the trigger for now , we wil see where this going to happen. Dale has all of the pices for his new engine but dont know where that will show up at. After Bristol And Hamiltion we have a window to put the new engine in and do some shakedown. Thats what we are looking at now. Clay City is our goal but we will have to see how the points look like after Hamiliton. Thanks see yall at Bristol. Ron Parker. PS put that boost about 16 psi that will work real good at Bristol. :D :D

gone bagel bagging no bagel no problem
