That's the torque converter lockup wire.

Thanks.On my 1982 the lockup is all pressure,no wire.So if I send voltage to that wire lockup will engage?How much voltage?I looked through the sticky pdf on the trans and did not see it.

+12v to this wire ought to lock the torque converter.
