Well, poop. I finally spoke with Mike last night and Kearney Raceway Park changed their schedule a little for this summer. Aug. 6 is no longer available, which is the date we decided was best.

The dates possible on their schedule (krpi.com) are actually:

July 31/Aug 1
Aug 14/15
Aug 21/22

Please let me know again what date or dates will work for you. I hope we can still please most everyone!

We will discuss at the East banquet this weekend too.

Thanks,

Lou

Aug. 14-15 is a no-go for me...I could do either of the other two.

14th and 15th are the NHRA Nationals race at BIR. I know Mike skipped it last year to do the slant race but he commented on how he wished he should have run his stocker there instead of racing a 10 car slant field.

The other weekends are fine by me.

:D The July/Aug mix is the preferred one for me, but any of the three will do.

I now have the car in my possession. I wish I could load pictures here.

It is looking more and more like the 31st/1st date will be the one. Need to hear from Dennis and Seymour...

I really don't like any of those, but it is what it is.

Just hope I can get vacation time then. I will not try and squash it all into Friday/Sunday like last year.

I can't do 7/31 because I have to be at a wedding in Oklahoma. It does sound like that is the best date for the rest of you. Maybe Dennis and I can have a match race at Morocco on the 6th.

How about the Aug. 21/22 date??

I would hate to have either Seymour or Mike miss this, since if they say they are coming, we KNOW they will be there...

Keep it comin' folks!

Lou

Which Mike can't come on 7/31? I could probably do 8/21 but it is more important how many others can come.
