My son, Alan and I are planning to go to hagerstown with our 62 Lancer GT Hyperpack 4 speed. It will be a long trip from Greenwood Maine, but I have always wanted to make a slant six meet with the race car and we finally have it going good enough to be happy with the results. We had a best of 8.11@ 84.65 at local Oxford Plains Dragway last may. Over the winter we have freshend the engine, installed a new cam, built a new dash with new gauges & switches, neatened up the wiring & removed a few more pounds where we could , hope to weigh a few pounds under 2600. Look forward to seeing all you fine slant 6 nuts there. Ron Heath

To all,

At the banquet the group decided to see if Mason Dixon would allow us to do one race on Saturday and another on Sunday as planned. This will allow those traveling a great distance to get in 2 races in one weekend. I have an e-mail in to the owner and will report back at soon as I know something.

I also will be selling some T-Shirts and Hats with all the profits going to the race purse/trophies. Pictures and more details to follow soon.

I want a couple T-shirts! Maybe several. Love the design and would like to support the cause.

That design is timeless (not tied to a certain event), so there could be a market for them as a good fund raiser for the site or other venture as well. I have several people I can think of that I'd buy them for. Many aren't Slant 6, Mopar or even car folks.
