Chrome moly doesn't save that much weight over mild steel, but you are kinda fanatical about this issue so I'm not gonna give you any grief. 8) I look forward to seeing you. Hope you can make Medford otherwise I'll have to drive to Redding.

Roll bar kinda in.mocking it up for final welding.should bee in for Vegas, will add about 50lbs.Got seat belts and Jacket today.Pulled carpet that weighted 16 lbs, removed snubber 2 lbs, rear door panels 5lbs.My guess on final weight with me in it,195 lbs is 2471.I will take Slantzilla with me to the scales for verifacation,Excited Nervous.Dont really have gear and tire for the 1/4.Guzzi Mark

The tires you were asking about should work, hope you will be glad you put the roll bar in (that you will run fast enough to need it). What snubber did you pull out?

Mark,

You're getting to the point with that car I see a lightened or custom K-member and lower control arms in the car's future. Maybe even a strut front end and R&P steering.

I would get some taller tires to run the 1/4. Don't blow your motor...
