i absolutely love the old vintage racers of the twenties and thirties, and after saving up for a year, ive started on my vintage racer themed project. I wanted a car with maximum dependability that didn't lack terribly in the power department, hence, the slant six. i picked up an old postal jeep for two hundred clams from a guy i work with. this postal jeep has nearly everything i need to start out with. (right hand steer, limited slip differential, straight axle, and a small frame) plus it sure was a blast tearing it apart. one of the pictures posted is a (general) plan of its end look. ill post more pics as i progress.

Cool man!

Looks like the engine will be well behind the front axle? It's gonna be fun!

Awesome...I love it.

Everyone's gotta do a full-on toy like this once or twice in their lifetime.

Sometimes they work out, sometimes they don't, but they are great to build.

just a revised version of the final vision. i think a hood would make the final product look a bit more 1920's. what do you guys think?
